Dr. Marie Cassidy State Pathologist visited St. Mary’s on Thursday 22nd May and gave a hugely interesting and informative talk to the students studying science.
Dr. Cassidy, originally from Glasgow spoke on her career to date, on forensic science as a career option and on several of the many interesting cases she has encountered.
All those in attendance were captivated by her story and were delighted to have the opportunity to ask Dr. Cassidy some questions at the conclusion of her talk.
All in St. Mary’s wish to thank Dr. Cassidy for taking time out of her bust schedule to come and visit the school and also for presenting the Scifest certificates to the 2nd year students.
A special thank you also to 2nd year student Dylan Gavin who invited Dr. Cassidy to the school.
